It is amazing the amount of money you can save by “brown bagging” your lunch every day. When you take in your own lunches every day–made from leftovers or sandwich fixings, you will be spending much less than you would at even the least expensive restaurants and diners. Most fast food (the most common lunch purchases) is chock full of calories, fat and salt and taking in your lunch will help you eat a lot healthier. Eating out will often make tight schedules feel even tighter. Not only is making your own lunch easy to do and a money saver, as time goes on the savings can add up exponentially. If you take a look at your phone bill is there some room for savings there? If you are like everyone else you probably have a cell phone or two, a land line at home and perhaps an internet phone service too that makes up a large portion of your phone bill. We don’t often realize how much we can save just by getting down to one line. A pay as you go plan is usually the best cell phone idea that you should consider. This way you won’t be paying for any extra minutes you don’t use. You should also avoid, or cut back on text messaging, which can really add to your cell phone bill. If you like to type messages back and forth, do it online, where it’s a lot cheaper.
